Optimized paddle design features more surface area and is specifically designed to be used with ambidextrous magazine catches. It allows the user to be able to lock the catch back easier without a magazine inserted.

V3 features a wider surface for locking the bolt open and both control surfaces have a raised “hook” at the end to further prevent slipping.
